Applewood Instruments is a sole proprietorship operated by Sean Rice, doing business as Applewood Instruments ("Applewood Instruments," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it.

Information we collect

When you use the signup form on this site to ask about Tendril, we collect the first name, last name, and email address you provide. We don't collect any other personal information, and we don't collect anything at all unless you submit that form.

How we use your information

We use your name and email address to send you updates about Tendril — things like prototype availability and the Kickstarter launch. We won't use it for any other purpose, and we won't share it with anyone except the service provider below.

Third-party service providers

We use Keap to manage our mailing list and send emails. Submitting the signup form sends your information to Keap on our behalf; their handling of it is governed by Keap's own privacy policy. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Cookies and other tracking

This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which may see your IP address as part of serving those font files, per Google's privacy policy. We don't run any analytics or advertising trackers. The interactive pedal demo on this site uses your browser's Web MIDI feature, if you grant it, entirely locally — we never see or store anything about your MIDI devices.

Data retention

We keep your name and email address for as long as you remain subscribed, or until you ask us to delete it.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly (below) to unsubscribe or to ask us to delete your information.

Children's privacy

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date above.
